It’s Six O’clock Somewhere is a mixed media exhibition that uses sculpture, performance, and works on paper to consider how we negotiate finding rest and familial bonds within contemporary society.
Having a family split between London and Tarndanya. For the last three years I have spent a large amount of time negotiating time zones, Jet lag and an ever increasing sense of leading a dual life always somewhere between here and there.
This new body of work starts with the pillow as a site of rest and grounding, expanding on this to consider the potential restlessness and abject qualities this object can also hold.
