Alex Stone (b.1985) is an artist working with photographic processes and sculptural casting techniques.

Having trained and worked as a theatre maker she discovered the darkroom in 2014 and for the last five years has been exploring the physicality and qualities of photographic print, finding new ways to engage audiences with them. Play and experimentation are fundamental to her practice and she uses different materials and camera-less techniques to bring a sculptural element to her work.

Central themes within her practice are isolation, escapism and the temporary environment within which we exist.
